Costa Rica Sports - Costa Rica beckons all the sports buffs in the world to come and try their luck!! Especially if you think you can kick around the ball a bit. Yes, if its soccer for you, you need to head to Costa Rica and take a plunge. It's soccer all the way in this country. Saprissa, La Liga, Heredia, etc. top the charts in the club leagues. One should behold the spectacular audience turnout at all such games. "La Sele", their national squad is off course the cynosure of all their enthusiasm. The team has made it to the soccer world cup finals a lot of times and the vigor with which they are supported is noticeable both on and off the stands. The streets are jammed with the long processions of the soccer devotees and one is simply arrested by the passion and relentless energy they display. There are off course the not too stellar moments for which the fans often turn into fanatics and the not too pleasant moments are generated but mostly there is a lot of positive energy around the country with regards to this sport. There are though other sports too…. taking in the scenery

Adventure sports particularly draw a lot of fans from all over the world to this country. On a trip to Costa Rica, chart out a route and routine to fit in everything adventurous on offer in this country. Especially adventure sports: you could go bungee jumping, white river water rafting or just plain water skiing or surfing. In case this meets your adrenaline needs move over to more exhaustive sports, run the marathon for instance or you could even jump on a motorcycle and race. You could also just plain relax with a game of golf. Go windsurfing if you like, or boogie boarding for that matter. Hit the waters. You could do some plain swimming or go scuba diving snorkeling or even kayaking. Did I forget to mention fishing?

The steep mountains also call out to the mountaineers, the work out is just plain fabulous. You could climb across volcanoes, river crossings, temperate forests, lush tropicals, sub tropicals the best mountain passes and guess what, even active volcanoes. Want more excitement? Try out mountain biking. Whether you are hiking or biking in the mountains the scintillating views will further enrich your sense of adventure.

Down the slopes of the hills, find the most exciting descents. The roads are dusty too. Whether you are a novice in biking sports or a pro the options to bike are all available here in this country. Go biking!!Sailboat

Take a guided drive till the top of Irazu Volcano. You are now perching on top of all those 11000 feet. Now ride low, ride down to 1500 feet to the petite town of Santa Cruz de Turrialba. On your way you have experienced the lush greenery of the hillsides. Can a biking expedition be more perfect? Ask yourself, if you have had prior experiences. Be fortunate enough to catch the Turrialba cheese fair in action. Your little biking trip has been made.
So either indulge or observe, either way get a taste of the brilliant ambience of Costa Rica sports. This is the place to play!!!!
